Loretta Ann (Hausman) Layton the daughter of Louis Frank and Wanda Ree (Vanwinkle) Hausman was born May 9, 1951 in Engelberg, Arkansas, and departed this life July 12, 2025 at Randolph County Nursing Home in Pocahontas, AR at the age of 74.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Layton and wife Kim of North Carolina; and one granddaughter, Lauren Layton of. She is also survived by members of the Hausman and Layton families.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Rudy and Louis Hausman. She was also preceded in death by her eldest son, Charles Layton Jr. (Chip), and many loved ones who welcome her home.

Loretta spent most of her life traveling the United States, working as a medical technician taking care of our elderly and nursing bound patients. She loved needlework and playing bingo.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Engelberg, AR. Following the burial, there will be a gathering at the parish hall.
