Monette- Lorene Taylor Smith, 90, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on November 15, 1921 at Childress to the late Amos and Georgie Thurman. She had owned and operated a dress shop in Monette for many years. She was a member of the Monette Church of Christ.
