She was an amazing mother and grandmother and was affectionately known as our Nana Belle. Her never ending love for her family was her gift from God. She cherished every one of us and loved her family and friends more than anyone can imagine.
As the wife of a Marine Corp Veteran, she worked to provide for her children while he fought in World War II. She was an accomplished tennis player and bowler. She also loved playing cards and games. Her laughter and hugs will always be remembered and cherished.
She is survived by a daughter Jan Wahl (Gerry) of Lenexa, Kansas; a daughter-in-law Diane Parker of St. Petersburg, Florida; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, with another due in July. A son, Ron Parker and three sisters preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 19th at Main Street Church of Christ at Walnut Ridge with Rob Combs officiating. Her final resting place is Lawrence Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Brian Wahl, Brad Wahl, Kristy Boss, Kelly Williams, Mike Rellihan and Adam Rellihan.
We will miss our beautiful, funny, caring mother and grandmother and the unconditional love she gave us. Her spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Many thanks to our friends at Benton House of Lenexa, Kansas for their loving care and support and to the staff at AdventHealth for the compassion and dignity you provided to her.
