Pocahontas - Lonnie Alonda Holt, 86, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010. Born June 09, 1924 in Pocahontas to the late Frank and Anna Junkersfeld. She is preceded in death by husband, Eddie Holt, son Alan Holt, two sisters, four brothers, two granddaughters, and one great grandchild. She is survived by daughters; Junetta (Jerry) Simpson of St. Augustine, FL., Carol (Ted) Holland of Supply, Nell (Windell) Martin of Pocahontas, Darlene (Larry ) Agee of Reyno, Linda (John) Donner of Pocahontas. Son, Doug Holt of Pocahontas and sister-in-law, Daisy (Sis) Sorg of Heber Springs, AR. 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 5 step grandchilden, 13 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great great grandchild. Lonnie was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. She will be dearly loved everyone. Memorials may be made to St. Benards Hospice and/or St. Paul Catholic Church. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church with Athanasius Okeiyi officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday night from 5-7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. rosary following in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.
