Lois Jean Verhaeghe, 90, of Pocahontas passed away December 21, 2020 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Lois was born May 30, 1930 in Bay City, Michigan to the late George and Julie Cummings Stanley. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic belief.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard Verhaeghe; son, Greg Verhaeghe; brother, George (Ruth) Stanley Jr., sister, Wilma (Bob) Hogan, sister, Marion (Leslie) Banchatel, and sister, Judy (Tom) Anthony.

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth (Loretta) Stanley, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Father Stephen Elser officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

To follow the directives of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, masks covering the mouth and nose are required for all persons in Arkansas for all indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to non-household members where social distancing cannot be assured. Those attending will also be asked to sign a contact registry and maintain a social distance.
