Obituary

Mrs. Lois Maxine Quinn of Bono, departed this life Friday, February 15, 2013, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 83. She was born November 24, 1929 in Jonesboro, the daughter of Aaron "Pete" Underwood and Maggie Simms Underwood. Mrs. Quinn was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church and a former employee of Frolic Footwear for over 20 years. She also worked many years in the cafeteria for Jonesboro Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Maggie Underwood, her husband Codie Quinn, and 3 sons, Ray Brown, Dale Brown and Bill Brown. She is survived by two sisters, Frances Salmons of Jonesboro and Ann Dement of Bono, 15 grandchildren, Nicholas Brown of Jonesboro, Jennifer Carmon of Bono, MarrLa Kraft Jamestown, North Dakota, Raschel Gabel of North Dakota, Ladona Brown of North Dakota, Ray Brown, Jr. of Massachusetts, Michael Brown of Massachusetts, Brandy Brown of Rogers, Jacob Korinek of Nebraska and Joey Kofas of Nebraska, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Gregg Langford-Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery near Jonesboro. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday, 1:00 p.m. till service time. Ricky Dement, Brian Dement, Scott Dement, Royce Metlock, Jeremy Dement and Nicholas Brown will serve as pallbearers.
