Obituary

Horseshoe Lake- Lois Elizabeth Daniel Blake, 82, passed away November 10, 2017 in Little Rock.

She was born July 26, 1935 in Engleberg to the late William Henry and Elnora Brantley Daniel. She was a member of the Hughes Church of Christ for over thirty years until it closed. Mrs. Lois was a telephone operator and helped with the family farm.

She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Ceclia and Mike Boren of Tunica, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Stacey Michaels of Hattiesburg, MS and Benjamin Boren and his wife Jennifer of Philadelphia, MS; three great-grandchildren, Blake Michaels, Taylor Ann Boren and Michael Boren; a brother, William Gary Daniel of Pocahontas and several nieces and nephews from many generations.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Blake; six sisters, Freida Miller, Ouida Kinsey, Betty Riggs, Carolyn Sue Roll, Margaret Ellen Daniel and Joyce Daniel; a brother, Edward Daniel.

A celebration of her life will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 17, 2017 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 until time of service at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are her nephews.
