Pocahontas - Lloyd Chester Waggoner went to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 06, 2010 at the age of 93 years. He was born January 23, 1917 to Elmer and Sarah (Palmer) Waggoner. Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Peggy Waggoner, second wife Joann Waggoner, one brother, and three sisters. He is survived by 1st wife Joetta Waggoner six children; Pat (Cecil) McNew, Chuck (Linda) Waggoner, Frances Ann (Herb) McGlothen, Larry Waggoner, Jerry (Diana) Waggoner, and Scott Waggoner. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Military Honors will be performed by Promberger Traw Post #4556. Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Keith M. Waggoner, Ph.D. \u0026 William T. Fortson II, M.Ed. Officiating. Burial will follow to Dalton Cemetery located on Old Burr Rd. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-7. Pallbearers included: Francis Ann Waggoner McGlothen, AE, Larry Waggoner, M. Mech., Jerry Waggoner, CW5, Jerry Waggoner, Jr., Gerald K. Walker, Capt., and William T. Forston II, M. Ed.
