Lloyd Benjamin Buxton, 95, of Pocahontas passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center.

He was born September 26, 1922 in the Stokes community to Peter Edward and Elizabeth Hackworth Buxton. He was a carpenter and a WWII Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Mary Lee Harris Buxton, a great granddaughter; Elaina Grace Buxton, three sisters, and one brother.

He is survived by two sons; Dr. Gary L. (Elaine) Buxton of Doniphan, MO and Thomas Buxton of Pocahontas, five grandsons; Chris (Monica) Buxton of Bono, Dr. Greg (Nicole) Buxton of Bono, David (Kim) Buxton of Doniphan, MO, Jon (Jeanette) Buxton of Jonesboro, and Adam Buxton of Florida, thirteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Jimmy Young officiating. Burial will be in Brockett Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
