Jonesboro- Linda Diane Touchstone, 68, Parted from this Earth on August 11, 2022. She was loved and will be missed by many.

Linda spent thirty-eight years at Arkansas State University in food management. She loved her job until her sickness forced her to retire. Linda had enjoyed gardening and cross-stitching but most of all, teaching her granddaughters to cook and taking them on adventures.

She sadly leaves behind her husband, Gerald of the home; daughter, Sheri (J.D. Walker Jr.); three beautiful granddaughters, Alice, Rachel and Norah Walker. These three were her pride and joys and she was so proud of them; several brothers and sisters, JD Cox (Pansy) of Paragould, Joyce Darling of Bay, Waymon Cox (Mary) of Goobertown,  Danny Cox (Virginia) of Conway, Carolyn Sue Henry (John) of Jonesboro, Wickey Cox (Vickie) of Trumann, and Larry Cox of Pocahontas.

She was also preceded in death by her father, Ishmael Cox; her mother, Elsie Cox and a sister, Peggy Langston.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2022 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be noon Monday at Pine Log Cemetery with Burl Young officiating.
