Mrs. Linda Mae Smith of Harrisburg, departed this life on Monday, December 26, 2022, at her home, at the age of 82.

She was born June 22, 1940 in Grubbs, AR the daughter of the late John Alvin Griffin and Rosa Mae Bell Griffin.

Following high school, Linda worked for many years in Data Entry for General Motors, where she eventually retired.  She married Bobby Gerald Smith on June 5, 1959 and they were married 60 years before his death in 2019. She was a rock collector, a collector of depression glass and barbie dolls and was a member of the Harrisburg Church of Christ.  She loved crocheting and spending time with family. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Griffin.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin Smith (Mary) of Texarkana, AR and John Smith of the home, one daughter, Judy Lynn Sirlet of Texarkana, AR, one sister in law, Joyce Ellis of Corunna, MI, six grandchildren, Bobby G. Smith, II, Kevin Smith, Sarah Moreno, Jessie Sawyer, Jack Payne and Dottie Akin, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Mr. Bill Willard officiating.  Interment will follow in Clark's Cemetery at Uno. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Thursday, 1:00-2:00 p.m.  Pallbearers will include Brook Combs, Orville "Junior" Smith, Jack Payne, Tyler Raines, Tyler Griffin and Brian Davis.  Trey Smith and Fisher Cox will serve as honorary pallbearers'.
