Linda Carol (Jones) Parten, 70, of Paragould, passed away December 13, 2020 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Linda was born September 21, 1950 in Pocahontas, AR to the late Charlie Levi and Edith Lillian Wilson Jones. She graduated from ASU with a teaching degree in special education. She was a retired teacher and a salesperson at Dillard's Department Store. She was a member of The Rock Church in Jonesboro.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Parten; brothers, Charles Jones, Tom Jones and Melvin Jones; sisters, Wilma Higginbotham, Peggy Burnside, Brenda Stone and Debbie Conder.

Linda is survived by son, Trent Edward (Stacy) Parten of Missouri City, TX; daughter, Jill (Parten) and Daniel Waters; grandchildren, Logan and Madelyn Parten of Missouri City, TX, Landon Taleff of Hoxie, Lake Light of Bono, Johnny Waters of Fayetteville, Emma Waters and Bella Waters of Jonesboro, Kinley Millsap of Hoxie; brother Russell Jones of Rockford, IL; sisters Reba Oren and Nina Kazzee of Pocahontas, and Pam Tate of Paragould.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with the funeral at 11:00 A.M. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are William Sisco, Richard Tate, Craig Parten, Ronnie Parten, Chris Burnside and Glendall Jones.
