Linda Hall Newsom left this earthly world for her heavenly home on June 26, 2021 at the age of 70. She was born on September 4, 1950 to Maynard Hall and Phyllis Hall of Pocahontas.

She leaves behind her husband, Charlie Newsom of the home; sons, Scott (Donna) Kildow of Dalton, Derek Kildow and fianc, Cheyenne Smith of Pocahontas, and Drake (Andrea) Newsom of Brookland; and daughter, Mendi Kildow of Fayetteville. She also leaves her special grandchildren, Kamron Kildow and Kori (Jordan) Hoggard of Dalton, her precious Basie Bowen of Fayetteville, Amara and Josephine Newsom of Brookland. Also, Rylee, Jax, and Mason Hoggard and Carley Smith. Linda is also survived by her dear sister Mary Sharp and fianc, James Razer of Pocahontas; sister, Donita (Tim) Declerk of Bryant; and brother Bill Hall of Pocahontas; many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends; and her sweet niece "Tay" Taylor (Logan) Smith of Doniphan, MO.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard Hall and Phyllis Hall; her beloved hero, her brother, Maynard D. Hall; and grandson, Noah Hoggard.

Linda retired from the USDA-FSA after 25 years of service. She was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, AR.

She loved life, loved her family, and loved to help people. Linda was always classy. She looked for those in need. She made a difference in so many lives. She was the best cook and she loved sunsets and clouds. She loved going to church, the lake and especially being at the beach.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29, 2021, 11-2 P.M. in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Services will start at 2 P.M. also in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society or to look out for and help those in need.
