Linda Jean Guthrie, aged 65, gained her angel wings on October 19, 2023 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro.

Linda was born on October 24, 1957, at that same hospital, along with her twin sister, Brenda, to her parents, Eugene and Carole (Rhoderick) Hawkins. She was raised in Williford, on the beautiful Spring River, with her parents and siblings: Donnie, Brenda, Cliff and Teresa. She was married to Randy Guthrie on January 31, 1976 in Ozark Acres. To this union they had Ryan, Chad and Jeremie. Each of her sons gifted her with 3 grandchildren she absolutely adored. Linda's greatest joys in life were her husband, 3 sons, 9 grandchildren as well as her entire family.

Linda was a devout Christian and a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She loved to have bible study each morning with her coffee and watched many services online. Her heart was huge, always so concerned with her family and anyone in which she came in contact. Nothing made her happier than being in her kitchen preparing a feast for all of her family members and fellowship with them. Despite her many illnesses, she was determined to not only take care of herself but try and take care of every one of her loved ones. In her eyes, servitude equaled love and she was the very best at demonstrating love to everyone she cared about. She was a CNA, and loved to assist and love on all that were sick or elderly. She was a member of the Eastern Star and volunteered in church, school and any event she could be of assistance. She will be so missed in the lives of all that knew her.

Linda is survived by her husband, Randy Guthrie of Jonesboro; her sons: Ryan, Chad (Teresa) and Jeremie (Amanda). She was an amazingly loving Meme and will forever be cherished and remembered by her grandchildren: Ashton, Ashleigh, Karson, Emma, River, Mackenzie, Gracie, Zane and Brooklyn. In addition, she is survived by her Dad, Eugene Hawkins; siblings: Cliff (Kyla) Hawkins and Teresa (Robert) Poulette and sister in laws: Glenda (Marcus) Guthrie-Bowers and Debi (Chuck) McNeight. Linda also will be lovingly remembered in the lives of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death was her mom, Carole Hawkins; brother, Donnie Hawkins; twin sister, Brenda Reeves; mother-in law, Jean Guthrie; father-in-law, Glen Guthrie; grandparents: Myrtle and Ben Hawkins and Annette and Roy Rhoderick; nephew, Nathan Jackson, and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be on Saturday, October 21 with visitation held from 12:00-1:00 at Imboden First Baptist Church, followed by the funeral at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Imboden.
