Obituary
Jonesboro- Linda Davis Clark, 74, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at her home.
She was born March 24, 1946 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Willis and Jearline Holifield Davis. Linda was an Arkansas State University Professor for forty-seven years and received numerous honor and awards while teaching there.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Dr. Russell "Rusty" Clark; and son and his wife, Christopher and Ashley Clark of Jonesboro; two grandsons, Gregory Clark and Benjamin Clark; a brother, Gary Davis and nephew, Logan Davis and many cousins, close family and friends.
The family will have a private graveside service at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
The family will also have a celebration of her life in the spring.
In lieu of flowers please consider First United Methodist Youth Building Fund.
