Leslie Dewayne White, 82, of Randolph County, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025.

Born on September 28, 1942, in Randolph County, Leslie was the son of the late Albert and Jay White.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Lou White, who always held a special place in his heart.

Leslie's life was one marked by love for his family, a deep sense of community, and a tireless work ethic. He Proudly served in the United States Army. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication to those who knew him. He will be missed dearly by all who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.

He is survived by his children, Leslie D. (Joni) White Jr.; stepsons, Tim (Susan) Buck and Anthony (Cindy) Buck; step-grandsons, Jarrod (Bethany) Buck, Logan (Shea) Buck, Garrett Buck, Caleb (Morgan) Wann, and grandcat Mufasa White; brother, Jim (Kay) White; sisters, Judy (Larry) Jones and Paulette (Lanny) Lance; and special friend, Carolyn Smith.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Jeral Dean will officiate the service, celebrating Leslie's life and legacy. Burial will follow at Sharum Cemetery.
