Leslie Wade Tyler, 88, of Pocahontas, AR. Died September 27, 2009 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas. Born July 25, 1921 in Water Valley, AR. He was the son of Luther Edward and Nellie Henderson Tyler. He was an insurance and real estate broker and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Pocahontas where he was a Sunday school teacher and served as Deacon for 22 years. He was a member of the Gideon's, and he was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Woodrow, Lawson and Clyde Tyler. One sister, Iretha Tyler Pichney. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Leola Brewer Tyler of Pocahontas. Son, Les Tyler of Jacksonville, AR. Two daughters; Pasha (Buck) Carter of Pocahontas, and Brenda Eoste of Arlington, TN. Six grandchildren; Tina Tyler of Chambersburg, PA. Brett Tyler of Jacksonville, AR. Daniel Suenkel of Sharpsburg, MD. Tracy (Wayne) Reece of Brookland, AR. Beth (Eddie) Carson of Arlington, TN. Frank Lee Eoste II of Bartlett, TN. 7 great grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Suenkel, Jon and Mackenzie Reece, and Gabriel, Carys and Lena Carson. Brother, Luther Bea Tyler, and many other friends and relatives including "great grandfriends", Tiffany and Jasmine. Service will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens with Terry Miller officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8.
