Forrest City - Leon Foust, 88, passed away on November 20, 2021.  He leaves his wife, Dyanne of almost 65 years as well as three children: Dr. LeAnne Foust and husband, Patrick Brungardt of La Vista, Nebraska, Blake and Jamie Foust of Forrest City, Arkansas and Boyd Foust and Marla Carey of Memphis, Tennessee.  He is also survived by two granddaughters: Halle and Annalee Foust both of Mississippi State College, Starkville, Mississippi.

Leon graduated from Harrisburg High School and Arkansas State University.  He spent 12 years in the U.S. Naval Reserve.  Upon college graduation, he went to work for Production Credit Association, then later moved to Cross County Bank in Wynne as Vice President.  Later he moved to First Arkansas Bank as President.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday November 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Forrest City with a private burial to follow at Tyer Cemetery at Cherry Valley under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home.

The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tony Blake, Tim Murphy, Barry Walls, Derek Spiegel, Patrick Brungardt and Bobby Pruiett and as honorary pallbearers, Ray Oswalt, Glen Oswalt, Wayne McFall, Earl Dean Williams and Randy Foust.
