Pocahontas - Leola Faye (Luter) Watkins, 80, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born January 07, 1932 in Little York, Illinois to the late Ernest and Ida Luter. She is also preceded in death by husband Zean Watkins, grandson Jeffrey Eastbourn, two step children; Tommy Watkins and Tony Watkins, and sisters; Naomi (Luter) Hagood, Wynona (Luter) Weatherford, and Pat (Luter) Lynxwiler. She is survived by 2 sons, Jerry (Sheila) Daughhetee of Reno, NV and Terry Daughhetee of Pocahontas, AR; 2 daughters, Janet Anzaldi of Anaheim, CA and Pam (Garry) Foster of Reno, NV and 3 step-children, Laurie Swan, Larry Watkins, and Ronnie Watkins all of Michigan; 5 grandchildren; Kim Eastbourn of Anaheim, CA., Jeremy Daughhetee of Reno, NV., Steven Daughhetee of Reno, NV., Ginny (Foster) and husband Wade Agee of Reyno, AR., and Kristin (Daughhetee) and husband Jason Couch of Pocahontas and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Watkins was a member of the Frolicking Granny's Red Hatters and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Leola loved spending time with her family and friends. Her great grandchildren were the joy of her life. She lived reading, working word seek books, and music. She was always ready to go listen to good music. Leola loved belonging to the Red Hatters Organization. Funeral services will be Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2 pm in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Roger Hovis and Alma Hastings officiating. Burial will follow in Hite Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
