Rivervale- Leman Walter "Buck" Huskey, 77, passed away October 24th, 2023. His final day was spent surrounded by his family.

Buck was born on June 9th, 1946 in Missouri to the late Roy and Amy Huskey. He was a lifetime resident of Rivervale. Buck and Pat were married for 54 years. During his life, he worked mostly as a tractor mechanic for both Case IH and John Deere, as well as independently for the farmers around the area. He also owned a service and gas station in Black Oak. When cotton was still picked by hand he was known to be the best around the area picking up to 500 lbs per day.  He loved hunting and fishing with his sons and brothers. He enjoyed watching and reading westerns. He also enjoyed local history and crime documentaries. Most of all, he was proud and devoted to his family.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Patsie Huskey and their son, Leman Bradley "Tuch" Huskey.

He is survived by a son, Wesley "Bub" Huskey of Rivervale; daughter, Rachel Brown of West Memphis; grandchildren, Tiffany "Shug" Treece (Fred) of Manila, Gayla "Webby" Samu (Josh) of Rivervale, T'Sandra "Boogie" Huskey of West Memphis, Waylon Huskey of White Bluff, TN, Jessica Whittenburg (Hunter) of Caraway; sisters, Ruth McVay of Steele, MO,  Peggy Eastwood of Poplar Bluff MO and Betty Boyer of Dexter, MO; brother, Marvin "Gabo" Huskey of Mountain Home;  He was blessed with 8 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday October 27th, 2023 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Brother Jeff Miles officiating. Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1 pm until time of service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Fred Treece, Josh Samu, Kamryn Isaac, Leman Huskey, Chancley Horton, Dearl Freeman, Ray Birdno and DJ Freeman and honorary pallbearers are Marvin Huskey, Wayne Fires, and Eddie Hatcher.
