Lee Ann Kilpatrick, 75, of Jonesboro, passed away on April 9, 2026. She was born on August 29, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Willis Melton and Olean Blackwell Edmonds. Lee Ann lived a life centered around caring for others.

She was a devoted homemaker and later worked as a Registered Nurse, serving with several health care agencies as a home health care aide. Her work allowed her to touch many lives with compassion and steady kindness. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed watching television. For the past seven years, she made her home in Jonesboro.

Lee Ann is survived by her five children: three daughters, Leslie Ann Barnes of Jonesboro, Jennifer Lyn Smart of Jonesboro, and Patricia Olean Kilpatrick of Florissant, Missouri; and two sons, Dewey McClain Kilpatrick III of Memphis, Tennessee, and Willis Larkin Kilpatrick of Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey McLain Kilpatrick Jr., and one brother, Robert Hill Edmonds.

The family has chosen cremation as the final disposition, and no services are planned at this time.
