Pocahontas- Leamon L. Smallmon, 77 passed away September 5, 2016 at St. Bernards Hospital. Leamon was born July 20, 1939 in Nettleton, AR to Raymond and Amy Wright Smallmon. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Gibson Smallmon; children, Lori (Michael) Baker, Victoria (Jimmie) Henderson, Rebecca Ripley; grandchildren, Beth (Kyle) Estes, Samantha Lovell, Charles Lovell, Cain Ripley, Ben Ripley, Gabe Ripley; great grandchilren, Kiri and Aiden; sisters, Sylvia (Frank) Jowers, Pearle Cain, Eula Mae Thomas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Gary Smallmon, grandchildren Tyler, Michael Jr., Nicholas; great grandchild Sera; sisters Cathy Hampton, Carolyn Biddie; brother William Smallmon; and step-mother Jane Smallmon. A memorial service will be Friday, September 9, 2016 at 2 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Jonesboro with Pastor Abraham Velazquez officiating. Cremation was chose as final disposition.
