Lorado- L.B. Perry, 92, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014. He was born December 19, 1921 in Lafferty to the late Arthur and Della Perry. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II in the Philippines. L.B. was a livestock dealer. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Willidean Perry; his children, Larry Perry of Melbourne, Brenda L. Perry of the home and Joyce Mitchell (Benny) of Lorado; three grandchildren, Amy Perry of Melbourne, Ronnie Mitchell of Little Rock and Tammy Perkins (James) of Jonesboro; two brothers, Carlton Norris of Jonesboro and Paul Perry of Houston; two sisters, Marie Perry of Enid, OK and Lillian Sheppard of Bourmont, Texas; five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. A celebration of his life will be Monday, December 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home at 300 W. Matthews Ave in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jerry Coleman, Russell Wall, Roy Gene Dacus, Calvin Perry, Nathan Perry and Harold Dean Norris and as honorary pallbearer, Lonnie Roberts.
