Pocahontas - Lawson Johnson, 85, son of the late John and Ada Johnson, passed away Sunday, October 09, 2011 at UAMS in Little Rock. Born August 05, 1926 in Fort Thomas, Arizona. He was preceded by his parents and wife Elda Lavern Johnson. He is survived by 2 sons; Dr. Roger and Gary Johnson both of Pocahontas. One brother J.R. Johnson and two sisters; Mary Pifer and Sue Bentley, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Service will be Tuesday at 10:00 am in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Jeff Clay and Nelson Henderson officiating burial will follow at the Anticoh Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday From 5:00-7:00 at the Funeral Home.
