Black Oak- Lawrence Dwayne "Wayne" Whitley, 55, passed away November 27, 2012. He was born April, 18, 1957 in Black Oak, Arkansas, the son of Lawrence Bishop Whitley and Leona Hill Whitley. Wayne was a farmer and co-owner of the Black Oak Gin. His family was chosen as the 2012 Craighead County Farm Family of the year.
