Paragould-Laverne Lila Stroud Jones, 76, died Friday April 25, 2008 at the Belle Meade Nursing Home in Paragould. Born in Walnut Ridge, she was a retired Nurses Aid and a member of the Apple Hill Church of Christ. She was an avid reader who enjoyed gardening and her favorite flower was yellow roses.
