Pocahontas- Lavada June Acree, 77, passed away on June 20, 2018 at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR.

Lavada was born on June 13, 1941 in Attica, AR to Curtis and Marie Harris Waymon. She was a member of the Hillside Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Richard Acree; daughter, Annetta Gail Acree; son, Richard Lee Acree; and brother, Carlton Waymon.

She is survived by son, James Michael (ReNa) Acree of Fayetteville; daughter, Dana (Charles) Wyles of Harrison; grandchildren, Jole Wyles, Ashley Acree, Allen (Christina Edwards) Archer, and Andrea Acree all of Fayetteville; Clay Farrell of Memphis, TN, Lauren Wyles of Rogers, Jamie Farrell of Memphis, TN, Jessica Wyles of Fort Gibson, OK; 8 great grandchildren; sister, JoAnn (Carl) Harris of Pocahontas; and brother, Randy (Judy) Waymon of Dallas, GA.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 12-2 pm at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service immediately following at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Harris Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro or the Harris Cemetery.
