Miss Laura Jewell Thompson of Harrisburg, departed this life Saturday, June 16, 2018, in Monticello, AR, at the age of 22.
She was born June 17, 1995, in Jonesboro, the daughter of James Thompson, II and Marsa Piefer Thompson.
Laura was a very social person. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved to swim. She is survived by her father, James Thompson, II of Harrisburg, her mother, Marsa Neugebauer (Greg) of Monticello, her step-father, Wade Davis of Harrisburg, three children, Robby Riedel of Monticello, Anthony Riedel of Harrisburg and Jacob Riedel of Monticello, four sisters, Ceseley Davis of Harrisburg, Holleah Timze (Adam) of Bay, Katie Thompson of Harrisburg and Elizabeth Thompson of Harrisburg, two brothers, Genoa Davis of Harrisburg and Scotty Neugebauer of Harrisburg, and her grandparents, Barbara Staten Coats (Dean) of Harrisburg and Larry Piefer (Reba) of Harrisburg.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg. Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday, 1:00-2:00 p.m. Her body will be cremated following services.
