POCAHONTAS-Laura Rose Holder McGowan, daughter of the late John and Henrietta Puchta Blann, was born December 21, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH. She departed this life May 16, 2007 at the age of 61 years. She was preceded in death by a grandson, SPC Rusty W. Bell and a sister, Anna Mae. She is survived by a son, Robert Holder of Bullard, TX, 3 daughters, Darlene Gee of Enterprise, MS, Vanetta G. Evans of Little Rock and Jennifer Bailey of Bono, 3 grandchildren, Meagan Lee of Enterprise, MS, Madalynn Bailey of Bono and Savannah Grace Holder of Bullard, TX, 7 brothers, Clarence Taylor of Texarkana, Donald Taylor of Young, AZ, John B. Blann of Gatesville, TX, Henry Blann of Ola, Joe Blann of Texarkana, George Blann of Williford and Curtis Blann of Booneville and 2 sisters, Mary Stanley and Henrietta Knight both of Texarkana. Services will be 2pm Sunday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Harlan Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 Saturday at the funeral home.
