Jonesboro- - Larry O’Neal Williams, 89, of Jonesboro, passed away May 3, 2026 at his home in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Larry was born March 11, 1937, in Jonesboro to Preston Earl and Sybil Louise Leary Williams. He was the only son of nine children. Larry proudly served in the U.S. Army for six years and was retired from General Electric. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and seven sisters.

He is survived by a sister Mildred Williams of Grand Blanc, Michigan, a son Larry O’Neal Friar of Jonesboro, daughter Barbara (James) Andrews of Georgetown, Texas and Amy Hudson of Jonesboro and special grandson Jamar (Stephanie) Andrews of Jonesboro with other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a private visitation at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home and burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
