Mr. Larry Edward Sefers of Harrisburg, AR departed this life Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, at the age of 69.
He was born October 6, 1949 in Harrisburg, the son of Arvil Sefers and Lorelle Powell Sefers.
Larry graduated high school in Chicago in 1967 and married Sandra Holcomb in 1968. They enjoyed over 50 years together. He worked most of his life at Farmers Supply in Harrisburg and the Craighead Farmers Co-op. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and relaxing on the patio. He could fix almost anything and if ever something was asked of him that he didn\u0027t know, he would find out. He enjoyed crafting and woodwork and lived for his twin great grandchildren. They were the pride of his life and he enjoyed whenever he could see them. Larry lived a simple life and was always very spiritual minded. Only three weeks ago he surrendered to the gospel and was baptized into Christ. His suffering on this earth is over and he is at home with his Lord.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arvil Sefers. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sefers of the home, three sons, Mark Sefers, Brian Todd Sefers (Chastity), and Michael Sefers, all of Harrisburg, his mother, Lorelle Sefers of Harrisburg, two brothers, David Sefers and Danny Sefers (Patsy), all of Harrisburg, one sister, Donna Allison of Harrisburg, two grandchildren, Taylor Sefers of Harrisburg and Ricky Sefers of Lake City, AR, and two great grandchildren, Jaxson Levi Arnold and Daxton Lee Arnold, both of Harrisburg.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at Bolivar Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg. Mr. Mark Weston will officiate. There will be no visitation.
