Larry Lee Jones, 76, of Smithville passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.

He was born June 27, 1948 in Lawrence County to the late Orvel and Agnes Collins Jones.  He devoted many years to working as a farmer and a mechanic.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Orvel and Agnes Jones; brothers, John, Harry, and Rex Jones; and sisters, Sue Jones and Brenda Cullum.

Larry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy White Jones; sons, Clifton (Angie) Jones of Powhatan and L.A. (April) Jones of Smithville; six grandchildren, Tyler Miller of Lynn, Haley (Ben) Allen of Brookland, Trevor (Kaitlyn) Jones of Walnut Ridge, Hunter Jones of Smithville, Gabby (Nick) Powell of Bono, and Jackson Jones of Smithville; four great grandchildren, Jacob Dean of Blytheville, Ahna Allen of Brookland, Aizen Allen of Brookland, and Millie Jones of Walnut Ridge; brother, Billy Mack (Patsy) Jones of Smithville; sister, Jean White of Delaplaine; many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 2-3 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 3 PM with Billy Mack Jones officiating.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition.
