Larry Wayne Godwin, 70, of Biggers, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Larry was born on June 8, 1954, to William Edward Godwin and Euviolet Colleen Venson Godwin in Pocahontas, Arkansas. A lifelong resident of Biggers, Larry's presence in the community was cherished by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, William and Colleen Godwin; his brother, James Godwin; and sisters, Bonnie Godwin, Leguita Godwin, and Phyllis Godwin. Larry's departure leaves a void in the hearts of his family, but his memory will live on through the lives of those who loved him.

Larry is survived by his devoted brothers, William (Barbara) Godwin, Ronald (Retia) Godwin, Michael (Diane) Godwin, and Teddie (Loretta) Godwin, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends who will miss him dearly.

Larry was known for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his deep love for his family and friends. Whether lending a hand to those in need or simply sharing a good laugh, Larry made a lasting impression on everyone he met. His family was his pride and joy, and he will always be remembered as a man who cherished the bonds of kinship.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel, with Charles Ray and David Edington officiating. Burial will take place afterward at Hite Cemetery, where Larry will be laid to rest next to his loved ones.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Christopher Zitzelberger, Matthew Zitzelberger, Joseph Godwin, Greg Godwin, Spike Jones, Bryan Martin, Jim Foster, and Cody Cagle.
