Obituary

Larry Gene Edington, 60, of Mountain Home, left us for the arms of Jesus on January 6, 2022. He passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.

Larry was born June 15, 1961 in Wellington, Kansas to Buddy and Joyce Edington. He is survived by his loving wife, Terry Edington; two daughters, Lisa (Robert) Russell, and Tiffany (Jonathan) Griffin; and five grandchildren, Dawning Russell, Sierra Griffin, Savannah Griffin, Mason Griffin, and Buster Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry wed his wife, Terry, on August 7, 1981. For 40 years, he loved only one woman and honored his covenant marriage. Larry will be remembered as a loving, generous, and highly intelligent man that did not hesitate to help others.

Larry started out as an EMT, but his passion was always in electronics and computers. He fulfilled his dreams of becoming a Senior Hardware Engineer and a Senior BIOS Engineer. His joys with his family and accomplishments include becoming a private pilot, a certified scuba diver, fishing, and jet skiing.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022 at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Arkansas. The service will begin at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Pitman Cemetery in Pitman, Arkansas.
