Pocahontas - Larry David Cherry, Jr., 43, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013. Born October 20, 1969 in Pocahontas. He is preceded in death by mother, Vicki King McDonald, and grandparents, Woodrow and Kathleen King and Thomas and Imogene Cherry. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Gray Cherry of the home, father, Larry Cherry of Corning and step father, Lovard McDonald of Pocahontas. Sister, Heather King of Pocahontas, nieces include, Hannah Whitney, Jordan Whitney, Sydney King and Destiny King all of Pocahontas. Aunts include, Kelly King, Cindy Stoker, Pam Pankey, Martha Jones, and Brenda Daniel. Two uncles, Chuck King and Bill Cherry. David loved his family, playing guitar, reading and enjoyed being with friends and family. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 09, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Jon Fears officiating. Burial will follow in King Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 P.M. at McNabb Funeral Home.
