Jonesboro-Lance Jerome McGee, 47, passed from this life on December 10, 2024. He was born to Jerome and Venida Mcgee on June 9, 1977, in Jonesboro.

Lance loved to laugh. He was a sous chef at Embassy Suites. He practiced in the culinary arts at numerous places and enjoyed gatherings, eating good food, helping his friends, but most of all, enjoyed music. He always connected with people through music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

He is survived by his mother Venida Bittle McGee; sister: Brandy McGee Hagar (Kevin); son: Logan McGee; grandson: Westin McGee; and Uncle Wendell Bittle and his brother from another mother Greg Gerdes.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday February 6, 2025, at 7 p.m. with Bro. Jay Jacobs officiating. A gathering for friends will be at 6 p.m.
