Obituary
Monette- Lana Gaye Rolland, 66, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Flo \u0026 Phil Hospice House.
Gaye was born May 23, 1951 in Monette to the late Jeff and Inez Mullen. She owned and operated Gaye's Beauty Shop for over 30 years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Larry Rolland; two children, Justin Rolland and Tina Matheny (Jamie); three grandchildren, Kayla Rolland Peaster (Braden), Alex Matheny and Oliva Rolland; a great-granddaughter, Bella Peaster; two brothers, Lester Mullen (Barbara) and Steve Mullen (Cindy); a sister, Marla Ann Corter; a special aunt, Suda Reeves and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Mullen Rolland and Brenda Mullen Wood.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Monette Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.
