Monette- Lagatha Ann Burnett, 73, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at her home.

She was born May 31, 1950 in Luxora. Lagatha was a homemaker and mother who raised five kids and some grandkids, cooked, chopped cotton, raised a garden and loved her family and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Burnett Sr.; her mother, Thelma Pritchett McLamore and a brother, Lloyd McLamore.

She is survived by her children, Sherry Savia, Mary Gribble, Elizabeth Riddle, Gail Burnett and William Burnett Jr.; son-in-law, Scott Gribble; daughter-in-law, Kim George; a brother, Coot McLamore and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a private family service.
