Pocahontas- L.A. Harris, 73, entered into eternal peace on October 8, 2014 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. L.A. was born March 29, 1941 in Warm Springs, Arkansas to the late Alvin and Lenora Tyler Harris. L.A. is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Harris, one brother H.A. Harris, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joe and Ilene Biron, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. All services will be held at The Church of God.. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 20104 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held the following day on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Sister Connie Wilson, Dewayne Smith, and Gary Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery.
