Kurney “Mack” Calhoun, born June 19, 1943, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, passed away on October 6, 2026 at Flo & Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 83.

Mack will be remembered with love and respect by those who knew him. His life began in Walnut Ridge, where his story started on June 19, 1943, and he carried that legacy with him throughout the years. Mack was a member of the Pocahontas First Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, along with his wife, Cora Calhoun, and by his step-daughter, Carroll Martinus. Their memories remain an enduring part of his life and the family story he leaves behind.

Mack is survived by his step-son, Fred Martinus; grandchildren, Bobby Manning, Cindy Manning, Terry Manning, Trina Breazeale, Waylon Martinus, Joy Martinus and Londi Hughes; great-grandchildren, Gwenevere Hall, Shayna Vallance, Allison Mothershed, Katie Gibson, Madison Gibson, Griffen Payne, Connor Manning, Olivia Manning, Luke Breazeale, Eden Breazeale, Michael Martinus, Alexander Martinus, and Jaydon Martinus; brothers-in-law, James Hufstedler and Harry Hufstedler along with many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Randolph Memorial Gardens.
