Charles Kenneth Rose, 90, of Pocahontas passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Bernard's Five Rivers Medical Center.

Kenneth was born October 18, 1930 in Walnut Ridge to the late Harvey D. and Elsie L. Kellow Rose. In 1951 he married the love of his life, Betty Lou Harrison. He was a Korean War Army veteran, mechanic, bus driver, and a member of the Church of Christ. He loved his many Christian brothers and sisters at Skaggs and other congregations in the area.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Elsie Rose; his wife, Betty Lou Rose; son, Danny Rose; and brothers Paul and James Edward Rose.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Darrell (Rhonda) Rose of Gilbert, AZ, Steve (Donna) Rose of Pocahontas, Mary (Larry) Ewing of Maynard, Martha (Tim) Warner of Appomattox, VA, and John (Michele) Rose of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Michael (Rachel) Rose of Gilbert, AZ, Rodney Rose of Pocahontas, Rachel Smith of Pocahontas, Robert (Leigh) Ewing of Augusta, GA, Laura (Henry) Smith of Little Rock, AR, James Ewing of Maynard, Katy (Scott) Hodge of Appomattox, VA, Travis Warner of Appomattox, VA, and Kenny (Ashley Mitchell) Warner of Appomattox, VA; great-grandchildren, Allison, Madison, Connor, Jordan, Hailey, Khloe, and Kinsley; brother, Junior Rose; sister, Melba Campbell; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and good friends, Robert, Dennis, Cindy, Neal, Wanda, Darlene, Juanita, and many other relatives and friends.

All services will be held in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Visitation will be from 9-10 AM with a funeral service beginning at 10 AM with Gerald Fears officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Washington Cemetery near Maynard.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Rose, Conner Murray, Tim Warner, Steve Rose, Darrell Rose, and Larry Ewing.

Honorary Pallbearers are Dennis Land, Neal Bennett, and Robert Barnett.
