Jonesboro- Kelma Jean Galli, 81, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
She was born May 3, 1938 in Louisville, KY to the late Claude and Lula Robinette Griffey. Mrs. Kelma worked as head dieticianary cook at St. Bernards Medical Center for twenty-five years. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandma.
She was survived by a brother, Nick Griffey; six children, Gary Galli, Arthur Nash, Lisa Maddox, Sherry Bernal (Mark), Tammy Neal (John), David Weiblen (Debbie); fifteen grandchildren, Bryan, Jennifer, Andrew, Jeffery, Jeremy, Loren, Andrew, Miranda, Seth, Kimberly, Steven, Tucker, Dana, Amanda and Eric; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Gonya and a brother, Claude Griffey Jr.
A celebration of her life will be 1:00 pm Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Jennifer Tarwater officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon until time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
