Jonesboro- Kay Evelyn Stahl, 64, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at St. Bernards Hospital.

She was born November 24, 1958 in Jonesboro to Tom and Goldie Gray. She was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and a graduate of Jonesboro High School.

Kay was a devout Christian her entire adult life and a member of the Highland Drive Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She loved reading her Bible and other Christian books. She enjoyed planting flowers, feeding her hummingbirds and spending time with family especially her granddaughters who she said was the light of her life. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom "Pop" and Goldie "Nannie" Gray and two grandsons, Samuel Lee and Silas William Stahl.

She was survived by her husband, Cleon Stahl; her children, Greg Stahl (Heather) and Laura Stahl all of Jonesboro; brothers, Tommy Gray Jr. and Stan Gray (Melinda); granddaughters, Evelyn Stahl and Alaina Stahl.

A celebration of her life will be 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Hutchison officiating. Interment will follow at Keller's Chapel Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Greg Stahl, Cleon Stahl, Stan Gray, Mark French, Gary Black and Darrell Williams.
