Imboden - Katie Elizabeth Malone, 85, passed away June 18th, 2012. Born August 07, 1926 and was a life long resident of Imboden and a member of Smithville Baptist Church. Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her parents; husband Cecil Malone and children; Gary Malone, Gail Malone Johnson, Brenda Malone, Bragg Hibbard and 9 brothers and sisters. Survivors include: two son; Ricky Malone and wife Bera of Imboden and Ronnie Malone and wife Susan also of Imboden. One brother, Tayber Lillard and wife Inez of Smithville; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Smithville Baptist Church Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Harold Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Annieville. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers include: Bobby Bragg, Eric Bragg, Warren Durham, Nathan Malone, Gary Paul Malone and John Lillard. Honorary Pallbearers include: Robbie Bragg, Donald Ragsdale, Dylon Bragg and Jeffrey Malone.
