Caraway- Kathryn Hatchel, 95, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born December 7, 1923 in Monette to the late Cisero and Iva Mae Dunkerson Adams. Mrs. Kathryn worked and retired from American Greetings and has worked on the family farm for many years. She was an active member of the Caraway Church of Christ and enjoyed raising vegetables and flowers. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Terry Hatchel; a daughter, Sheila Bolling; three brothers, Cisero Adams Jr., Robert Adams and Cladus Adams.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Chris Duffel, Brandon Alsup and Lisa Shortnacy all of Caraway; six great-grandchildren; Zachary Barrett, Kyley Lutz, Matthew Lutz, Kama Mullins, Breeanna Dover and Christopher James Alsup.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Monday, July 8, 2019 at Caraway Church of Christ with Jerry "Chub" Qualls and Jeremy Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.

The family will receive family from noon until 2:00 pm Monday at the church.
