Jonesboro- Kathryn Lewis Branscum, 93, passed Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at St. Elizabeth's Place in Jonesboro.

She was born July 6, 1923 in Lake City and lived most of her life in Caraway. Kathryn was a wonderful homemaker and loved gardening and cooking. She was always more than willing to share the fruits of her labor with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Branscum; parents, Nora and S. F. Lewis; a brother, S. F. Lewis Jr.; three sisters, Virginia Henry, Marguerite Johnson and Josephine Garner.

She is survived by her children, James D. Branscum (Mary) of Jonesboro; Sharon Thomas and Betty Barnes (Dewey) all of Jonesboro; a grandson, Eric Branscum (Amy) of Jonesboro; two great-grandsons, Braden and Bryson also of Jonesboro; a sister, Betty Phillips of Walnut Ridge and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:00 until 2:00 pm, Friday, June 16, 2017 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Friday, at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with John Shadowens officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
