Maynard- Kathleen Ann (Holister) Parsons, 74, passed away August 19, 2017 at St. Bernard Hospital in Jonesboro.

Kathleen was born June 21, 1943 in Elkhorn, WI to the late Leroy and Katherine Holister Browning.

Kathleen knew few strangers and was known for her large heart, kindred spirit and a smile that lit up the room and warmed the soul. Kathleen found many pleasures in life but most notably enjoyed nature, horses, company and all things country.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Billy Parsons; sons, Jeff Stephan, Jeff Parsons; daughter, Jennifer Parsons; granddaughter's, Tiffany (Timothy) Chinn- Barsness, Monica, Hailey, Erica Parsons; great grandchildren, Spencer Chinn, Jayden Sullinger, Summer Lopez; sisters, Susan (Clint) Wilber, Mary (John) King, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many friends made along her life's ventures and accomplishments.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Kurt Stephan, and brothers, Patrick and Bill Browning.

Services will be held at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Chesser Cemetery.
