Traskwood- Katherine Chism, 84, passed Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in Benton.

She was born April 23, 1934 in Cash to the late William and Hazel Holman Kelley. She was a homemaker, a wonderful cook who was very creative and loved to travel. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother.

She was survived by her nine children, Shirley Beard of Traskwood, Sandra Cercola (Larry) of Moultrie, GA, Rhonda Richman of Tennessee, Jimmy C. Davis of Perryville, Cecil R. Johnson (Darlene) of Benton, Kenneth Johnson of Traskwood, John D. Johnson of Perryville, Timothy Chism and Kimble Chism of Russellville; a brother, J H "Buddy" Kelley of Belleglade, FL; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Armour, Edna McDaniel and Audry Schwartz and two brothers, Johnny Kelley and Carnelius Kelley.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 pm Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Cash.
