Bono- Katherine Blanche Carr Raymond, 83, of Bono, departed this life Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro.

She was born December 6, 1936 in Bono, the daughter of the late Harry Elmer Carr and Jessie Doris Calvert Carr.

Katherine was a licensed optician for forty years and worked for three eye doctors. She was a Bank Teller for twelve years. She run a Hog operation for approximately thirteen years. She catered food and wedding cakes and cleaned for Olympus Construction. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering at the fair, fishing and camping and has spent a lot of time in her later years caring for others. She loved going to the National Championship Chuck Wagon Races for the last thirty-one years.

She is survived by a daughter, Deonne Fortson (Wayne) of Paragould; a son, Darwin Raymond (Myrna) Houston, TX; a brother, Carroll Carr (Lois); a sister, Selma Tate (Wayne), all of Jonesboro; three grandsons, Brandon Fortson (Debra) of Pensacola, FL, Shawn Fortson (Traci) of Bono, and William Raymond of Houston, TX; a great grandson, Tyler, and a great granddaughter, Kati and a great great granddaughter, Nellie.

A Memorial Service is planned at Vines Chapel Baptist Church in Paragould on December 20th , at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gregg Langford-Bookout Funeral Home.
