Pocahontas- Karen L. Thompson Springstead, 51 passed away on September 14, 2015. Karen was born July 19, 1964 in Pocahontas to James Olin and Carol Pickett Thompson. She is survived by her son Charles Nicholas (Nick) Springstead of the home, parents James and Carol Thompson of Pocahontas, fianc Greg Enix, brother James (Lana) Thompson of Texas, sister Nancy Thompson (Lisa Mitchum) of South Carolina, niece Mariah Thompson of Texas, and nephew Alex Dunkle of Missouri. She is preceded in death by grandparents C.O. and Bessie (Mitchell) Thompson, Jim and Pauline (Guthrie) Pickett, and nephew Stephen Guthrie Thompson. Visitation will be Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 2-4 PM at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no services at this time.
